For more persistent, extensive or troublesome psoriasis, there are these medications called systemic drugs. The traditional ones would be methotrexate cyclosporine, and Vitamin A. We are at the start of this revolution of these drugs called biologics which are very targetted. They try to block the lymphocytesthe white cellstalking to other lymphocytes, and it’s proving to be a very exciting time in psoriasis.
